** Changes to Leadership Roles **
Leadership Roles within Kings County are changing for the 2018/2019 program year.
2018/2019 will begin our transition period for implementing the new Ambassador program.
The state has changed the All-Star Leadership Program to a 4-H Ambassador Program. They have put out new guidelines and a new handbook. The state will no longer have an All-Star Ranking recognized at a State Level. Please see our 4-H Ambassador Page for more information and the new handbook.
We have decided to continue to offer the All-Star Program at a County Level. This will allow our members that complete the All-Star program to be eligible for the All-Star Scholarship.
As we transition and begin to implement this new Ambassador program, We will allow members that are in the process of or have completed their Emerald Star Project as of March 6, 2018, (along with meeting the All-Star requirements), to have the option, during this transition period, to apply directly for our All-Star County Level Program and will not have to meet the Ambassador Ranking requirement. Any member that has not been approved to start their Emerald Star Project as of by March 6th, 2018, will have to meet ALL the requirements (Emerald Star, Ambassador, and Record Book) to be eligible to apply for the County Level All-Star Program.
**March 6th, 2018 is the date that this transition process was approved by 4-H Council.
Please Contact the UCCE Office or Tiffany Watkins for any questions as we begin this new program.

Friday, April 13, 2018.
