It may take 1-2 weeks for your DOJ clearance to be received by the UCCE Office. Once your clearance has been received you will be contacted by the 4-H Program Representative to set up an appointment to complete the orientation process. There is a $10 yearly insurance fee for 4-H Leaders. This is payable to your Community Club Leader.
Once you have been cleared through the DOJ Live Scan process, met with the 4-H Program Representative, completed your leader 4-H Online enrollment and paid the program fees to your club, you will receive a letter of welcome from the University of California Cooperative Extension, Kings County Director, Kevin Day, and your leader card. At that time, you are approved to take on the role as a 4-H Volunteer Leader in your club or at the county level.
Thank you again for taking the time to complete the 4-H Volunteer Leader Orientation process.
Please review the Resources page or contact the UCCE office with any questions.
